The project involved widening and upgrading of the existing Gagalheri-Saharanpur-Yamunanagar road, which connects the towns of Gagalheri in Uttarakhand, Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Yamunanagar in Haryana, after crossing Yamuna River at UP/Haryana border.

The project has significantly improved the connectivity of the region, especially in terms of trade and commerce.

It has also reduced travel time and improve road safety, which is benefitting local population as well as the commuters passing through the region.
